Growing up in the Sacramento inner city was a challenging time in her life, but also a time where she defined her dreams and determination to do something different than those around her. Isabell became active in student government and sports. Her drive to make a difference in her life paid off when she received academic scholarships to attend St. Mary’s College of California. In 1999, Isabell graduated from the School of Economics and Business Administration with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, where her focus was Media Law with a minor in Communications.

The Law Office Study Program is a legal training and study curriculum that each participant must qualify for under strict personal and academic guidelines, and includes intensive self-study and mentorship. The program has a rich history in the United States and has been completed by some of the most successful and influential leaders of this country, such as; Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Marshall, and Secretary of State Daniel Webster.
Since her induction into the Bar, Isabell has been working as a liaison and mentor for many advocacy groups in the Sacramento area. Through her involvement, she strives to diversify the legal profession, to build an educational pipeline into the future, and to empower individuals to become a more constitutionally-literate citizenry.

Isabell believes in taking a Holistic legal approach to the practice of law. Holistic law is an approach or style of practice that focuses on the whole person and the whole of the problem as a way of finding more healthy and sustainable solutions to legal problems. Isabell supports the idea of envisioning a world where lawyers are valued as healers, helpers, counselors, problem-solvers, and peacemakers. Where conflicts are seen as opportunities for growth, lawyers model balanced lives and are respected for their contributions to the greater good.
Holistic Law practitioners often look inward to become whole themselves to better assist their clients in using the legal process to find wholeness. Often holistic lawyers take a spiritual component, exploring the unity of purpose between the seemingly opposing parties.

“Highly recommend Attorney Flores. Aunt’s son was charged with a felony DUI case and she was instrumental in having it reduced to a misdemeanor as well as having his custody time reduced tremendously. Ms. Flores was not intimidated by DA. Thanks to her great efforts he was able to maintain his employment.
